I hate giving negative reviews but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. Booked it based on reviews but it just wasn’t to my tastes. Check in - was clumsy and just not very smooth at all. The room - getting to it was the biggest issue. The hotel has 3 buildings and you need to take 3 elevators and 2 walkways to get to building C. It really took ages. And the room itself was just bland and soulless. The beds were good. But the towels were pitifully thin. Location - the worst part. The hotel is over a km from the beach. Knew this beforehand but thought there was a shortcut walk. There isn’t! So it’s a long walk or wait for a taxi. Communal areas - boiling hot with no aircon anywhere. It was stifling. Felt sorry for the staff. Breakfast - was a high point. Breakfast is really good and plenty of choice. Restaurant - ate in the restaurant when a monsoon hit. Food was really good, service was good, and good value for hotel food. Finally, lasted one night and checked out to move elsewhere. Think that says it all. Sorry Hotel IKON but just not good enough.

Rooms are very clean but look bigger in the pictures and the bed sheets have holes in them and stains. Service was really good and receptionists were very kind and respectful. However, i had a really bad experience with a rude worker in the breakfast area. Location is good but a bit far from the beach

Truly a 4-Star hotel in terms of overall amenities, F&B(breakfast are the best!), hospitality of the staffs, hygiene, vibes, and strategic location that are surrounded by many selections of local cafe and international restaurants, yet just a stone's throw away from Karon Beach! Extremely worthwhile to spend your holidays in this hotel! Stay to Believe!

This was a very good hotel. I particularly liked the design where the three buildings crawled up the side of the hill. I was on the top floor in building C and it had a great view. It did require three elevator rides to get to it, but that was quite a novelty and was actually a lot of fun. It's a good hotel for the money.

Room was severely under-maintained. Four star hotel but is not up to standard. The pictures are from the glory days. It does not look as advertised. Way overpriced for what we got. Breakfast was meh. There are hotels that have a better location for better prices.

Overall good value for money. Near 7Eleven, bike/car rental. Breakfast is good. Helpful staff. Only that you need to hop on 3 different elevators if your room at block C. And the A/C too cold.

It's a perfectly located hotel in a lane parallel to Karon Beach. They have a good breakfast option , a small nice pool to enjoy. And an amazing view from the room. We had booked an ocean facing premiere room, and the view from the room is beautiful. There is a gas station right next to the hotel with 7/11 , Texas chicken and donuts. Also, an Otteri wash and dry. You can also rent a moped across the street from a friendly owner. The only drawback is it's built on hill, and the hotel is split wing wise, which is a very long way to the room. But otherwise, I'm happy with my stay here, courteous staff, and parking available for 4W and 2W.

Service is really awful in this hotel: 1) My BD happen when I was here, my wife asked receptionist about any compliment from the hotel, they promised to present it ok breakfast. Eventually, they totally forgot on it and after reminder bring 2 half-baked pancakes… photo attached… It’d be better do nothing, than this from my standpoint. 2) Once we didn’t find shower towels in the room, and after call to reception figured out, that cleaning lady told “I don’t find old towels, therefore I won’t leave new ones”, and administrator didn’t do anything with this! (We don’t take towels from the room, so I’m sure, either cleaner forgot that he took them out or he’s lying for some reason) I hope, service will become better next time…
